Sycamores close out 2010 with a bang

It’s not every year a non-BCS basketball program closes out its recruiting on a given class in well before the early signing period. With three commitments since late September, Indiana State joins Butler as two mid major program pulling off high major feats.

The best prospect on the 2010 board, Jake Kitchell was facing a relatively normal decision. Wait for high majors to get more heavily involved or go where he was definitely wanted.

Let the visits begin

September 9 has become an annual event that is big in the circles of basketball recruiting. It is the first day of the new school year that colleges can visit a prospect’s school for the purposes of evaluating his play.
