Triple doubles are hard to come by in the high school game. In part because it’s tough to find players who excel in such diverse ways, but also in part due to the games only lasting 32 minutes.

Bowman Academy looks strong again and seeks redemption. Triton and LCC are both poised to challenge in the North, while Barr-Reeve appears to be class of the South.

September 9 has become an annual event that is big in the circles of basketball recruiting. It is the first day of the new school year that colleges can visit a prospect’s school for the purposes of evaluating his play.

As fans look to carve this state’s basketball into more and more classes, Triton and other small traditional public schools before show the games are played on the court and are not dependent upon enrollment.
