Yeah, this was a tough one.  Since Painter or anyone in his corner was saying anything, it really fed the rumor mill.  I received a text on Saturday saying he was Missouri bound, and it was from someone whom I know doesn't just make things up or embellish.  It was also going around in some small coaching circles on Monday that he was going to Missouri.  By Tuesday, I was fairly convinced the only way Painter would leave Purdue was to stick it in their face.  It was pretty clear Purdue was going to match whatever Missouri's offer was.
