The most impressive thing about Thomas is his ability to change speeds. As he gets bigger, stronger, works on his skills, improves his shot, the ability to change speeds can always serve as a key component to any player’s game, especially that of a point guard.

Thomas is a good shooter. Defensively he has the ability to lock down the other team’s PG. He understands how to set up teammates to score. As he learns to better progress the possession, seeing easier passes, i.e. understanding the pass which leads to the pass which is the assist, his game will flourish. He’s really good off balls screens, and I like a lot when he makes mistakes he hustles back into the play.
