Fromm can go down as the best big man at South since Chris Lawson. In a school which has produced a number of D1 caliber guards, a good big can be the difference as South looks to get over the semi-state hump.
Offensively, his game is developing, and while he is good in the low post, the more effective he is facing the basket the better off he can be. He’s displayed pretty good range, consistent to 15′. If he could drive from there, it would be a big asset.
His strength has been defense in the games I’ve seen of him. He’s not afraid to give up his body, moves well, and does a nice job of getting position over trying to block everything in sight. He can get into occasional foul trouble, but when he is getting calls he frustrates opponents who are presumably more talented.
